I recently replaced my buzzer with one approx 85dB. It seems slightly quieter than the original, however it's hard to judge because the new buzzer is also noticeably higher in pitch.

Thanks George, I was able to fix mine and re-install it. The new design really gets your attention when it falls into your lap. Now if only it would go buzz-buzz. The light goes on so I know the switch and wiring are good. Hopefully I can adjust the striker thing and be done with it.

Here is the full door and hinges. I'll have measurements and probably a 3D model later this week. Our incoming inspection team has a brand new laser scanner for inspecting parts and they are itching to put to use.

Cool, I'll just keep an eye on it and consider the connector to be something that needs to be replaced from time to time. My windshield doesn't leak so I'm not going to mess with a good thing.

Does the top of the center strap connect directly to the fuselage, on the outside of the airplane, or is there an intermediate connecting piece? Ryan, I had the same thought when I was pre-flighting this week. If the water is sitting at the sump when it froze (and now we know, ice doesn't float), I wondered if I'd get any gas out of the sump. Another cold related question:

I almost never find water when I sump my tanks, but what would happen to that water when the temps get well below freezing?
Does the water turn to ice? Does water ice float or sink in avgas? Does it have the ability to clog a fuel line?
