So I got in the habit of making all my landings simulated engine failures. Still do it at untowered fields. Good habit, bad habit I don'...

nothing like a little political disscusion to get people's tails up on there back's. Isn't it great to live in a country where we can express our beliefs openly with no fear of repercussions other than having our feelings stepped on, instead of our heads. I for one like the way the forums go, they s...

Have a friend that used to chase ducks with a wing tip across glassy water until he dipped it. 8O He and the student came out unhurt. I don't know what plane he did this in, I'll have to ask him some time. I do know the RAF didn't think much of it. Bet that was a engine out explaination. :P TP

Have you poured the floor yet? Proably so, but if you haven't you might want to consider holding your floor elevation up one inch higher than your door theshold. It keeps the water out , although it makes for a bump. No worse than the angle iron tracks that some hanger doors have. TP

Harold, Law inforcement, Fire, Rescue and probably other agency's can have a TFR put in place over a area while they work. In EMS we do it to keep the new's media back so they don't intrefear with ops. There is a way around it however. I don't have a explainasion for you in the crematory insident. P...
