Swaging pushrod tubes on the O-300 engines

Going to ask a simple question of this group....who has had experience in swaging the pushrod tubes on the 0-300 engine and what level of success had you achieved at doing it, plus I have heard coupling that process with the addition of certain wicking loctite products gives a much better result.......

Re: Cabin door hinge pins

These are what Mountain Airframe installed on my doors. I'm not sure what they are, but they are very tight in the hole. IMG_2139.JPG Miles, those pins remind me of the "safety pins" used on hand held fire extinguishers.....but at least what you have is another option to consider, Thanks ...

Re: Cabin door hinge pins

The correct pin called out in the '48 and A model IPC but the same in all models is NAS41-2-1.625 or a NAS41-2 pin 1-5/8". In the B model IPC the Cessna part is 0711001-59. No matter the model, all the pins are the same and if you follow Yingling's listing for 0711001-59 you will see that the ...

Re: LED landing light question??

Re: Cabin door hinge pins

I have seen welding rod or retainers from the tractor parts store commonly referred to as hair pins. The beauty of hairpins is the ability to safety wire them so they can't come out. Bill K Bill, never thought about those, I know exactly what your talking about, kinda like the cowl pins on J-3 Cub'...
