When I first bought my 170 in 2004, my mechanic said he could fix my slightly rough engine, if I found a 2 piece venturi and old style fuel nozzle. He was right....... I can't imagine ever sending in my carburetor and letting them discard the old parts that work great. Wasn't an intermittent though...
