Re: re assemble wing and strut 52 170B
I meant exactly what I said. With the eccentric adjusted neutral inboard the wing is swept forward as far as it can go. The wing might be perpendicular to the center line of the fuselage at this point, I don't know. Adjusting the eccentric up or down pulls the rear wing spar towards the fuselage an...

Re: fuel gauge floats
I did get the new floats installed and they work pretty good. I suspect the gauges were never the best from the git go because they seem to swing the needle quite a bit in flight. But they are better than they were. Thanks for your help everyone.

Re: fuel gage float
Do you just slide them on and repin them with the old washer or epoxy them on the wire?

fuel gauge floats
My 170A's fuel gauge floats really don't float. Does anyone have a source for replacing the corks used on the float arm? I found a place out in Lock Haven that will overhaul the fuel gauges for $126 per so I was hoping to find a more reasonably priced approach. Thanks.

Re: 170A Sportsman STOL
Wingnut: thank you. I was wondering what some of the differences might be. I know how one time field approvals work. I wonder if anyone has done it? I can't afford a B.

170A Sportsman STOL
Greetings from a new forum member. I am buying a 170A and am interested in the Sportsman STOL kit for It. The Stene's website does not list it for the "A" model, only the B. I have repeatedly asked them for information as to whether it can be installed on a one time approval but can get no...
