Looks like it would be either the -21 or -59. According to the article he flew a D model, BU 228229. I don't know which D variant, though.

Low, some of the ag guys around here have tinted windscreens and side windows, but they don't fly at night either I would think it would make dusk and dawn flying a pain, but they don't seem to mind it. Then again, they don't have any shade from the wing to help out.
