Congratulations!
6 months is a long time! My Stinson was down that long with an OH years ago and I was afraid I'd forgotten how to fly! Did you have something else to fly while it was down?

I've been shooting the birds, and that works pretty well, but more will show up. Anyone have experience with sonic bird repellants? Do they work? Any specific one you'd recommend? I'd hate to spend over $100 then just have to go back to the "12-guage" method.

slow starter
Next annual I'm going to have something done about my starter. Last annual I had the starter overhauled but no improvement. When cold it will barely turn the blades. Thankfully, the engine fires right up after a blade or 2. Spins up great when warm.

I have been told that MAF teaches a very different wheel landing for missionary pilots in skywagons. I used it for many years in a Stinson.
