Kyle, I don't have the Bose but do have the DC ANC. I clipped my battery pack underneath the pilot dash on top of the rigid upholstery sidewall insert. I clipped it over the top. It is out of the way, out of sight and works great. I then looped the extra cord and put a small piece of velcro around i...

Kyle, If you ever fly this way let me know. I just bought a cabin located at ID35, a 2600 grass strip up in the forest. You could fly in their enroute or stay awhile huh ? New plane, new cabin, I just need more time !!!! Never thought about a picture for the calendar, maybe I'll get one in the spring.

kyle, You are correct. N9125A moved to Idaho. It does have dual heaters and the Tanis engine heating as well. I just completed the annual with a complete paperwork and aircraft inspection/update. A real head to toe cleaning. Installed BAS pull handles and shoulder harnesses, 7.0x6.0 tires and replac...

tires vs. wheelpants

That C170A (N9125A) has 6.00 tires and lives in Idaho. Larger tires may be in it's future. Lots of beautiful backcountry to see up here. One complete polish a year and then just touch-ups.

Lee and Bruce,
Brings back a lot of memories about "mother Rucker" (Ft. Rucker). UH-1 Huey, UH-1M gunship, OH58 (Bell 206), AH-64 Apache, C-12 (Beech 200). I saved the best for last, C170A.

Flap Pawl spring

First annual on the 170A. Found that the flap pawl springs are missing on both the right and left side of plane. It appears that this is needed to prevent flaps from moving (gust lock) while in the upright position. My question is this, Have they been removed for a reason or should I replace them bo...
