Pacer on floats
I agree with the previous postings until you put the 170B and a pacer on floats (150hp). The pacer will carry more get off faster and out climb and cruise the 170. I have owned both and sold the Pacer because I have a 220hp Franklin on my C-170 that takes care of that situation! I am not into paper ...

New Franklin Parts on way! Says Susan *Prall*
Coplete engines from 2cyl to 6cyl 220hp in 6 months. Fuel injected with higher TBO"S. I have my fingers crossed my sons and I have 2 C-170s and a M4 Maule with 220hp Franklins. Can't beat the power to weight ratio of these engines!

Susan Prall in Texas reports Should be complete Franklin Engines in 6 months. Already are manufacturing some new parts. She met with the Polish and some American Companies involved last week. Lot of experimental interest. *** Mike
