Hey Art,

I think you'll find what you need on page 8 of the Owners Manual under Airspeed Limitations (available on the Members Page).

George, I'm not sure if you are actually planning a stop at the Trinidad Airport, but the airport in Raton, NM (RTN) is awesome and not much further from Trinidad, CO than the Trinidad Airport. The airport is in great shape and the folks at Pegasus Aviation will take great care of you (they live rig...

This topic has been discussed a number of times here in the forums. General wisdom is to get an annual inspection done by a 3rd party vs. a "pre-buy" because there are no set standards for a pre-buy inspection. Here is a link to an earlier thread. Search on pre-purchase, or pre-buy, or ins...

XM Radio

Frost and Light Ice Removal

I fly traffic watch in the mornings before I go to my "grown up" job. Its a great way to stay current (for free!!) and a great way to start the day :D . The flight school that owns the airplanes we use keep them tied down outside, so of course now that it is turning colder they pick up som...

Another possibility would be to replace your DG with an HSI. Then you would have DG, CDI all in one hole. This would be quite a bit more expensive 8O , but would look really slick.

I find that if I just need a quick METAR or TAF that the NWS Aviation Service site is very convenient. You can get just about any content you want (even translated TAFs or METARs, though I find it faster to read the raw data) and its all provided free of charge. This is the type of service that some...
